Andrew blessed our son today. Here are the words of his blessing. Our Father in Heaven. We come before thee this Sabbath day, by the authority of the Melchizedek priesthood, which we hold, to give this boy a name and a blessing. Father, this child's name is Peter Ray Townsend. Peter, you are surrounded by men who hold the priesthood, who have honored that priesthood, and kept themselves worthy so that they can serve others with that priesthood, and they'll watch over you, even after we have left the Earth. Peter, you are a prince, an heir to the kingdom of God. You have a strength and a will to grow that has exhibited from the moment you came to Earth. You've been a light to the lives of everyone that has met you. Peter, we bless you that inside your heart will burn a desire to learn and grow and question. We bless you that as you struggle with the gospel and you struggle with the truths in your life and the history of the gospel on the earth that you will feel a burnin
